You choose what to do and that choice is always correct

This world drama is pre-defined and cyclic in nature. Golden Age transitions into Silver Age, then Copper Age, and then the Iron Age. This happens in real, right here on Earth. Since this is a cycle of ages, imagine a circle and divide it into four equal arcs. Top-right is the Golden Age, Bottom-right is Silver Age, Bottom-Left is Copper Age, and Top-Left is Iron Age. So, after having travelled from the Golden Age, all the way to the Iron Age, clockwise, what next? It's the Golden Age, again.

Everybody knows that our present becomes our past, however, the weird thing about this world drama is that our future is actually our past, whereas our past becomes our future. Just that we do not know exactly what is going to happen in the future, we continue to take life as it comes. Many of us think a lot about our life, whereas many others take life as a game and just live it. The former worry too much, whereas the latter are often careless. We need to strike a balance between the two behaviours, because either of the two makes our life unpredictable.

Well, one thing that I know for sure is that EVERYTHING IS FIXED. Everything is pre-defined. So, even if there is a change in your decision to do something, even that change was pre-defined. It happens in every cycle (circle that you drew above) and this cycle repeats infinite times. So, whatever you are doing right now was and will be done by you infinite times, but the weird thing is that it seems we're doing it just once and for the last time. We think that our thoughts and actions are so dynamic and in our hands, but even though they are dynamic they fall within the limits of the world drama. It's a set of intellectual patterns that we cannot go beyond. We unknowingly do the same thing in each cycle at that particular moment. Intellectualizing this too much may not help, because nobody can sit and prove it to you.

However, again, there is a catch. We also have the ability to choose what to do. If a cigarette comes in front of you, you choose to pick it up and smoke. You cannot, then, say that it was pre-destined. At that moment, you chose, and then it becomes your destiny. At every step, you have the ability to think, intellectualize and go ahead and choose your thoughts, words, and actions. Hence, we have to get up and eat food, nobody comes and feeds it to us.

With all this said, it is very important to realize that irrespective of whether or not the decisions you make in life make you feel comfortable, they are always right. The concept of right and wrong vanishes, when you realize that everything that is coming your way as your destiny is for your benefit. Often, we try to find out the benefit immediately, or try to maintain a table having two columns 'Situation' and 'It's Impact On Me'. And here we categorize the second column into the good and the bad that happens to us. Yes, it's the ultimate truth that we cannot control the situation most of the times, however, what we can control is the way we respond to the situation.

The problem with our usual and ordinary thinking patterns is that we let our happiness be dependent on our 'doing'. For example, we want a better salary to be happy. We want a car instead of a bike to be happy. We want a better lifestyle to be happy. We want a life-partner to be happy. We want our children to be happy so that we become happy. Well, it's good to be happy when we achieve all the above things. However, we also have a tightly related formula i.e. if something above does not happen when I want it to happen, I become sad. Thus, we live in both the formulas.

Situations and people around us are the same, but it is our state of mind that makes us feel happy or sad. If you sit back and think, you always have multiple choices in everything you do. Whether to get angry at someone or not is only a choice if you pause and think a minute before reacting. This is just an example, however, like I said, it holds true only if we give ourselves a minute to pause in life. If not, we keep feeling that my anger was obviously triggered based on how they behaved.

At the end of the day, in spite of being in this job, with these colleagues, in that small house, with those family members, with a good old bike, with a slow Internet speed connection at home, we still have two choices. Whether to be happy with everything you already have or to keep cribbing about it. Well, yes, there could certainly be many things that we are aiming for, however, everything that we currently have in life is not just for the sake of being there. It is there for a reason, and the reason is that we need to learn from it, earn experience from it, and grow with it. Everything changes, and time is the best medicine for everything we have, however, since we lack patience, we cannot tolerate something we don't like for a substantial amount of time that makes the situations even worse.

At times, you need to make choices that may not be the ones you like (Well, you don't like them, because they don't fit your criteria of achievements in life). However, in such cases, we badly cry, crib, and keep spreading negative energy around us while making the choice. Accordingly, even the situations are affected, and we blame it upon the people because of whom we had to make those choices. Okay, there could be a situation where, after short-listing, you may be left with only two choices, and then you HAD TO make that one choice you did not want to. You still have two choices here - whether to be happy about any kind of choice you made, or be sad.

Understanding the first few words of this write-up, and with much more understanding of the world drama, you will have a better perspective and digestion of the fact that whatever you chose amongst A, B, C was ultimately the one made for you. It was your choice, and it was the perfect one you could ever have. Even if A was pleasant and you had to choose C, it was C that was for you, because there is always something better in the future. Just be patient, wait, and watch, and you will know it eventually.
